Gotta point out that I play FFXIV everyday and 80% of the time raid matchmaking doesn't work, it attracts some of the most brain-dead player's and then the duty either gets abandoned or they get kicked.
Considering FFXIV has a pretty hardcore community I couldn't imagine how much of a disaster raid matchmaking would be if it was introduced to a casual friendly game like destiny.
