They responded saying they were investigating, but this was many hours ago

Especially since it seems to be on different multiple operating systems.. having issues.. and no deep explanation or any explanation of why this is happening...

yeah I saw...but this issue seems to be very repeatable, so debugging this should not be difficult. Since you have so many ppl unable to play, provide some updates from time to time. At least tell us you have found the issue, and the time frame to resolve is unknown at this time. Just assure me you will fix it.
