Has anyone tried manually updating their visual C++ database and .NET framework 3.5 and 4 to the most recent release? Saw where someone grabbed the error log and it reporting a 0xc0000007b error, which is directly related to C++ database having a corrupt or outdate file that is being called.

Yep, I mantioned that error, I get that error after having manually updating said frameworks/databases/distributions. I tried doing it separately with just the missing .dll file at first, then I tried doing it by grabbing the whole VC redistribution "pack" as well, in both cases I managed to get the 0xc0000007b after doing that. I first received the error that my program (ie. Destiny 2) was missing from my computer before I did this, but I heard someone had managed to make it work by doing what I tried. Either way, it was to no success for me, I just thought I'd mention everything I've tried.

I believe yes, someone did mention updating all those kinds of things

I have seen it on win 10 64bit on a couple of the launches. Usually, its a pending update on win10 that has certain services turned off until the pc is restarted to finish installing the update.
