I mean....
Scouts, side arms, fusions, bows, trace rifles, pulses and of course DMT are seeing A LOT of play right now.
" Slides are to easy " says the kid that spawns with knee pads and a .67ttk pulse with omega flinch.
" Stompees are to free " says the YouTube star that throws smoke at a wall to see people through walls.
" Hunters are to fast and difficult to track "
Says the top dawn abusing warlocks.
" Hand cannons are to easy "
Says the dude who got gunned, respawned, and switch to DMT + GL.
Truthfully. If you guys don't want a competitive game, then quit asking for competitive balancing. It doesn't make sense.

Appreciate it. Be careful what you say though. Bungie simps out for it's player base and will ban you for 2-3 weeks for debating with someone on the more casual side. I guess it's " mean " to point out facts.

The people complaining about HCs and begging for they’re neutering tend to be a little bad. Stompees are annoying but they’re fine IMO (I main them but they’re THE only thing making hunters fast.) Warlock and titan don’t even need exotics to go fast, and are faster with them (Titans need MnK to be fast).

But I can -blam!- dark matter out of my hand and blow up 43 people. I can slam the ground like a toddler in Walmart and kill anything in a 10 meter radius. I go invisible and gain spectral daggers, then run around seeing people through walls like I have onboard sonar capabilities. Yeah... Seems legit. Checks out.

People just like cheese, and the same guys who say this isn’t cod claim that ARs need another meta and are harder to use than hcs. Which is just, really funny to me.

Is what it is. This game is dead from a pvp stand point. I honestly enjoy playing games like temtem or MMOs now over this dumpster water of a social experiment. Ironically the company that preaches about equality and fair treatment are mistreating and / or -blam!- harassing their employees.... Was it really Activision's fault? The game has gotten worse since the split. " But COVID " Bullshit. Plenty of other games have had massive and successful sequels, dlcs, or year 1 launches. Other people have been working. The military is still deploying. You're telling me you can't figure out how to telework from home........ As a tech company..... That's wild. It's been real. Probably getting banned for another 3 weeks after this one. Enjoy destiny. I'll check out the PvE and how the story ends but the game has as much appeal for me as a water drenched hamburger.

This game has an extremely toxic casual player base who look for free handouts and should not be catered to. The reason why this game is in a bad state is because they have catered to them for too long, pushing away most gamers and leaving the annoying players and the people who truly love this game to argue all day.

Facts. Except now the people who live the game and community are now fed up and also leaving. I just don't understand it. I don't think cross play was a great idea either. Yes, it united the homies..... But it also created that toxic and age old argument. Plus some of it is true. Peer to peer connections across multiple platforms and different regions, with lobby balancing and sbmm, is asking for major latency issues. The YouTube people and twitch people won't leave though. Many have tried. Their channels and income died off when they left. So they just agree with things to maintain their income. Can't fault them. Chase that money, support your family. However, this community is hot -blam!-. Let's not get it twisted.

Is what it is man. This game will continue to get progressively worse and worse. Bungie will hit year 10 and sell the title to someone else while it's in shambles while continuing to insist " Matter will be pvp focused " . I know D2 isn't the most competitive game... But ironically, the ones that always point that out sure do loving crying for competitive nerfs.... But only if it favors them, or if their favorite cookie got taken from them.
