Can we shift from hand cannons shotgun/ snipers that is all it really stale after 5 years
Any one saying oh look what about messenger it’s literally an outlier like any thing else’s use you can’t use every single pulse that’s like messenger it has to have certain perks or it’s useless, same with autos , smgs, side arms, scouts all of these guns have one maybe 2 buts that’s pushing it. All handcannons are useable and broken with exception of 180s being I believe under powered.
-
Maps are too small, I remember certain maps where it made sense to use pulse and scouts but they were removed from the game.

Edited by Infamous067: 1/28/2022 12:50:13 AMI always felt all hand cannons in the game should be 180’s. Its the only balanced archetype in the game but will never be meta as long as every other hand cannon archetype exist. Also why do hand cannons deal so much flinch? Is it not bad enough they have no movement bloom penalties? Or have peek advantage? Or an insane amount of aim assist where landing a body counts as a headshot? I mean come on guys, lets not pretend hand cannons are all balanced because they sure as hell aren’t.
-
Only thing wrong with hand cannons is flinch factor and maybe that there is so many of them added that other weapons don’t get a chance to shine my favorite is 540 pulses but because of flinch they can’t really compete all the time to the same level and there’s only 1-2 to get
-
Pulses are good tho? Messenger is solid but there’s far better ones. 540’s are very solid dueling weapons 450 aggressives are fantastic scout rifles (if they have the right scopes) 340’s are great general use pulses with perks that make them easier to use or scary to fight. 390’s can throw people off if you position yourself well and have a damage perk to get 2 bursts. None are top of the meta but almost all pulses are super solid
-
There was literally an auto rifle meta and everyone hated it. I would rather get flick shot and one hit than be unable to peek a lane because of non stop spray. It’s not call of duty.
-
340 pulses are all absolutely insane right now. (Legal action is nuts even when compared to messenger, but that’s a secret I want kept lol) 540 pulses (gridskioper and darkest before) are very strong SMGs are also nuts (multi Mach, shayuras, huckeberry and borrowed time if you farm enough gambit) 720 autos can be good because they fit a similar niche as 600 SMGs Fusions are busted The only weapon archetype that isn’t really viable is scout rifles. Other than that, there are multiple viable pulses, hand cannons, autos (kinda) SMGs, fusion shotties snipers sidearms and more

People complain about everything. I’ve been running a lot of lemonarc with varying degrees of success and have been generating a LOT of hate mail… more than ever before. Funny thing is that it’s always somebody with Eyasluna or AoS and a shotgun equipped. Every time. Seriously, like 100%. This is not an exaggeration. Lol. The trick is to not give a crap :)
-
This meta is the best because Other weapons have been able to show.
-
Here’s how you shift whatever the “meta” is: use something else! You’ll do just fine!

Guardian,Archon Of Light
Blade Of The Traveler - old
I run sidearm/pulse , it's refreshing -

We’re in a different Meta… It’s HC/Main Ingredient or HC/ Lorentz Or DeadMans/ Shotty 😈
-
The HC hype is so unreal. It’s not bc it’s broken, it’s bc people love them, they are very fun and getting rid of them will actually ruin the crucible for the majority who play it.
-
There’s still some 180s that surprise me, like posterity.

Do you remember when Auto Rifles were the meta? That was absolutely awful. I feel more comfortable using different weapons NOW, than I ever have. HC's are never going to NOT be prominent, so either get used to it, or avoid it completely.
-
You mean like vex which was nerfed or auto rifles which were also nerfed during worthy?

I get where youre coming from, some weapons are definitely over tuned. But others have said this and they are correct. Its the maps, not onoy do they usually favour mid to close range. But theyve been the same for sooooo long. People know exactly where to camp lanes, hide in corners and w.e else they need to do to get an edge. And there isnt much that can be done, besides more diverse and new maps. But you wont see that. Instead, i suggest you find what you like. And stick to it hard, then you can figure out how to have your ideal engagements more often. I am an on and off player, i took off right at duality season and just came back. And for a couple weeks all i could use was what i used last time (cerberus and a trustee) -blam!- to most, but it was what i was used to so i was still able to be a decent slayer. Now im trying to shift back into hand cannons and honestly its pretty tough. I just hate chaperone, it just gets so carried away in the right hands…

I mean.... Scouts, side arms, fusions, bows, trace rifles, pulses and of course DMT are seeing A LOT of play right now. " Slides are to easy " says the kid that spawns with knee pads and a .67ttk pulse with omega flinch. " Stompees are to free " says the YouTube star that throws smoke at a wall to see people through walls. " Hunters are to fast and difficult to track " Says the top dawn abusing warlocks. " Hand cannons are to easy " Says the dude who got gunned, respawned, and switch to DMT + GL. Truthfully. If you guys don't want a competitive game, then quit asking for competitive balancing. It doesn't make sense.

Some people: Bungie never listens Also those people: whenever something else rises to the top of the meta, people complain and Bungie compiles with a nerf 🤓 🤓 🤓

My friend, let me give you some advice on this matter: 1 l. of milk 100 gr. of rice 70 gr. of sugar 2 pieces of lemon rind 2 pieces of orange peel 1 cinnamon stick 1/2 vanilla pod cinnamon powder How to make the rice pudding recipe: Put the milk, rice, cinnamon stick and half a vanilla pod in a saucepan. Add the gue rind. When the rice pudding has a smooth texture, add the sugar. Stir and cook for a little longer (5-10 minutes). Add the lemon and orange peel. Stir and cook for a little longer (5-10 minutes). Stir every 4-5 minutes so that it doesn't peel. Remove the cinnamon, vanilla, orange and lemon zest. Leave to cool and divide between 4 glasses. Sprinkle cinnamon on top and serve. Garnish the rice pudding glasses with a few mint leaves. Tip: To prevent the rice from going rancid, it is important to cook all the ingredients cold. Rice pudding completes the nutritional value of a menu as it provides slow assimilation sugars, proteins and calcium.

So much is viable. You people.
-
I'd love to go back to the Hopscotch Pilgrim meta days.
-
It's a classic Destiny loadout regardless of meta. It's not going away
-
Gotta disagree. Despite some glaringly obvious problems in PvP, weapon wise it’s never been more balanced. People hate Lorentz, which I get since it’s a heavy weapon in the special slot but it’s really not that bad to compete against imo. There is an option for almost every weapon type except probably grenade launchers, and even then you’d be able to find some that are probably viable. I get the HC hate but it’s always been there so I don’t think that’s changing. Shottys and snipers are probably at their most balanced excluding some outliers.
-
I’m confused. First of all we’re in a Lorentz + Main Ingredient meta. Second I’ll list off other viable weapons . DMT, Messenger, Veggie wing, no time to explain, Grid Skipper, Darkest Before, Le’mon, Rapid fire fusions, shayura’s wrath, Suros, and I’m sure many more I’m forgetting. So sounds like the problem is on your end.
