A few days ago, I logged into Destiny only to be greeted by my original Xbox hunter sitting at 1350 light. As any normal Destiny 2 player would be, I was frightened a bit. I checked the website here and it said that I can't relink my cross save for another 90 days. But I never unlinked them. The 90 days has me being able to play on Jan 1 2023, which, to me, kind of seems intentional. That means I will miss festival, probably the dawning, the rest of this season, and the start of the next. It makes me a bit sad, knowing that I'm going to miss out on such important events, and I never got rank 100 this season.
I'm really just hoping a Bungie Employee or someone sees this and they can help me out somehow.

Edited by ADragonWithin: 10/5/2022 10:38:27 PMHi there. Cross Save cannot deactivate on its own. Deactivation requires all linked accounts being authenticated with their login credentials and manually clicking the deactivate button on the Cross Save page. Whether due to accident or unauthorized access, if Cross Save is deactivated for any reason, players must wait 90 days before it can be activated again. There are no exceptions to this policy. If you suspect someone else has had unauthorized access, we recommend changing all of your accounts passwords immediately and enabling 2-factor authentication to prevent further access. Your characters are still playable on their original platform while you wait for the 90-day cooldown to expire.
