It really does, for my personal experience. It’s much easier to engineer 1v1 situations when the other team isn’t on comms. When playing against stacks, which is common on the current Crucible environment, it’s much more difficult to get into a gunfight with only 1 other opponent.

It's definitely a lot easier to get 1v1s in freelance, especially at the control point and heavy. Premades hold hands and team fire all game.
