I asked if it was possible to change my username and got it banned.
Hello,
I tried to open a couple of tickets to make things more clear, but keeps getting Closed without any response. And since this is a important matter to me and I don't have a choice nor power to change it by myself, I'm afraid I'll keep trying to contact Bungie's Help because this issue, again, is a huge big deal for me.
So, in short, my username was causing me a little stress, and triggering a bad feeling. The team was super thoughtful and accepted to help me, and I'm super GRATEFUL for what it means, to be heard!!
But I'm afraid it's not right. I didn't wish to be called a default GuardianX name, and it was done completely without warning, if they would have warned me that it would be this way I would have cancel the Ticket for I want to have my in-game identity as a player that didn't broke the Terms of Use in anyway to have their names banned.
I feel like I was punished for asking help, because now I don't have an in-game identity, my friends don’t know who I'm in the game anymore, they make fun of me for having my name “banned” and almost got kicked from my Clan because they thought they invited some random player.
With Lightfall, and the Guardian Rank system, I feel extremely demotivated for people to know me as Guardian8723, and not something that is MINE alone. And I think it's my right to demand a Name Change token since this change of names was done WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. Like I said, if I knew it would be this way, I would try to talk more about the Name Change token, or cancel the Ticket all together, for I simply asked if it was possible to do it, not demand a name change to something random.
Unfortunately, I used my only Name Change for something small thinking it would be available again in some time, and I deeply regret my decision.
So please, I humbly ask for a Name Change token. Is it possible? What do I have to do to have only 1 Name Change token available? Can it be bought?
If not, I would like for this change to be reverted, even if it's a trigger or not, I prefer to have an Identity in the new Guardian Rank system.

Any change that you make to your Bungie Name counts and it uses the 1 name change you have available. Also, there is no "ticket form" for Name Changes specifically. So what that means is you're submitting a ticket for the incorrect item and it's being ignored because it's being submitted incorrectly - Bungie doesn't have a direct contact for Name Changes. Further submissions may result in your account being restricted or banned as stated on all ticket submission pages. Unless Bungie announces something in the future, you name is going to be stuck as is. And even IF they announced something, you now have a restriction or flag on your account, which could be ineligible. There isn't anything else to be done.

Everyone gets one change. Only Bungie knows if they will allow another one. Your name will remain Guardian8723 until Bungie decides to allow it. Nothing else can be done but wait till they sort through all the ridiculous names, clean things up and perhaps they will allow another one. I don't work for Bungie I don't know what they have planned all you can do is wait.
