Bungie - We want the Day 1 experience to be available to everyone and have a fighting chance to get the emblem and enjoy the experience.
Also Bungie - Let's release the raid 3 days after Final Shape so those who we wanted to include in the Day 1 experience (AKA: People that have work or other responsibilities) have to hard grind for 3 straight days or don't even bother.
Seriously this has to be the worst news with my current situation. My 2 week training would've ended on June 14th which if they stuck with their raid schedule with releasing the raid 9-10 days after an expansion/season, I could then get Day 1 with my clan mates and friends which I've been prepping with for the past year. Really hoping they re-consider to appease not just me, but many other people I see they've hindered with the announcement.
Also with the date in mind, what about the power grind, the gear prep, loadouts, meta switching, getting to enjoy the story and not have to speed run everything to be ready for Day 1. At this point are they gonna give the Gift of the Thundergods after Legendary Campaign?? Let's just release the first episode the week after if this is how quick we're pumping content.

Release the raid Tuesday on launch day Wouldn't that be interesting -
You dont have to do it on that day lol

Its 2 days now not a day 1 get it correct hahahaha glad its early means normal people with lives can give it a bash early on and thats a good thing. The sweats that live in there mas basement just wont sleep for 3 days and get it done so its a great think bungie has done so fair play to them...

Focus on your life, Not a videogame. No need to get bent out of shape over it. I get it, Im a gamer too but sometimes whe need to make sacrifices because there are more important things.

It’s fine…. Bungie can release the raid whenever they want… personally I am very happy with the release date -
I'm not sure if you didn't know this but the world doesn't revolve around you, Bungie can't just push back the raid date, making the rest of community have to wait an extra week for the ending of the final shape story, just so you can take part in a video game competition you would never win in a million years

They knew it would be an issue for you so they planned it that way.

Tbh, the only prep is doing legendary campaign and that’s it. It’s not Forsaken anymore.

Power grind is not necessary, as fireteam power will exist in the Final Shape, meaning your highest light on the fireteam will be everyone’s level. Meta switching/gear prep/loadouts. It’s a day one, not a speedrun. We’ve already made it clear you are no where near competing with the sweats who get World’s First, so there’s no need for you to stress about any of that stuff. Load up the raid, and do your best. If you can’t tackle it, that’s fine, it’s just a game. Me personally, I think they moved the raid forward to reduce the blunt force of the crazy power creep we will have in TFS. Exotic class items and prismatic will be absolutely insane in endgame content, and this is how they limit people from grinding that stuff out for a week and easily having a leg up over casuals, and definitely booting them from the day one experience. At the end of the day, the world isn’t about you, and this is the situation you have. They may change it, but for now, deal with it.

Why?you always don’t like something, they give you all the content at once (no time gates)

I don’t think your personal schedule is a factor here. But I have some more bad news. They’re going to screw you over even more than that because the little prepping you can do before will be undermined by last-minute deactivation of weapons and armour because there will be glitches and problems like every season and they won’t fix any of it but rather F your raid experience even more. My pro tip: Don’t buy TFS.
