At the end of Halo 6, Master Chief has to sacrifice his life to stop the forerunners from destroying ALL of humanity. In doing so, John locks himself in a preservation sphere called the Traveler and has to control the sphere and travel to one location in the whole galaxy to preserve one distinct location. With the only logical choice in mind, Master Chief heads to Earth to save humanity. There he stops the forerunner's manipulated halo blast that was directed at the Didact's main enemy, humans. With the Golden Age ended, the humans have to rebuild and search the galaxy. but baby steps must be taken and the solar system is trouble enough. Master chief now lies at rest in the traveler, waiting for us to release him... COMPLETELY FICTIONAL(NOT REAL) don't want you guys actually believing that.

Edited by Kirin: 8/29/2014 9:58:52 AMI belive this won't happen because bunge no longer owns the Halo Franchise, Microsoft does, and since bunge is giving Microsoft the short end of the stick, I'm guessing there won't be any halo references....plus Playstation players wouldn't understand

Dustn Echos should be a character. Maybe an old rusty exo with a phobia of round structures.

Cool story but personally my emotions to master chief would be ruined. I play halo for the amazing story. Im playing Destiny for the gameplay and story. I don't know if its just me but Destiny's story looks like a corny medivel-turned-scifi kind of story. Don't get me wrong because it looks like its going to be good, but it will NEVER live up to Halo's legendary story. So if they are combined, Halo is ruined.

imagine if he traveled to another reality/universe whilst in the traveler. That would justify humanity's state in destiny and kill the plot holes :D
-
Sadly though the golden age in destiny was brought about by the traveler. It was shortly after that something (the darkness more than likely) knocked us down. The traveler expended most of it self to save what it could.

Probably will be better than the ending of halo 6 that 343 has in mind...
-
It's a conspiracy man!
-
There is no such thing called Halo 6 ---- Awkward
-
343i is making a new trilogy, therefore Halo 4, 5, and 6. He's making a joke about the future.
-
I actually it's a saga now. They didn't want to be restrained to 2 more games, or something like that so they said it is not a trilogy.

Ohhhh I gotchu

Am I the only one who thinks this would be really gay and totally not fit any real parts of Destiny at all?
-
Why does the word gay have to mean something negative ?
-
I agree
-
Like great job thinking of this and all but it wouldnt really fit...
-
Wow man! If that were true, it would've the best story & a great end to Halo.
-
I just had a nerdgasm XD
-
That means Chief himself has taken up the Mantle.
-
That was awesome
-
You should probably read the books.
-
Did it happen? O.O
-
That might as well be the true d-(*v*)-b
-
Brillant. Now to break into Frank O'Connor's vault, and alter his book of Halo...
-
Thats actually not bad
