First of all, Reach was also very bad so it wan't just a 343 thing. Though 343 took over reach and had a ton of feedback from Halo fans of what we didn't like in a Halo game a good ways before 4 came out and it still turned out to be shit. I haven't been keeping up with the Halo 4 updates recently, so I don't know if they fixed everything, buy for a long ass time, they're forums were absolutely FILLED with negative feedback about the game and all of it was ignored, so yeah from what I've seen, 343 hasn't been doing a good job with player feedback.

My problems with 4 are the ways they tried to make it appeal to the Call of Duty players, but (most of) those features were due to Microsoft money whoring. A lot of people criticize 343i and call them a young company, but they're spearheaded Frank O' Conner who's been making Halo since CE.

reach wasn't as bad as people thought it was. i personally enjoyed it.

Yeah reach was AMAZING I THOUGHT

Just because you enjoyed it doesn't mean it wasn't as bad as people think. It was bad to me and many others.

I loved it!

more people liked it. people thought it was another halo 3 but they tried something different and people hated it because of that. people want everything to stay the same. look at how successful call of duty is. multiplayer wise they change almost nothing.

I think you just contradicted yourself. So wouldn't that mean things staying the same is a good thing?

No he said that people don't want change, at least not large changes. But if Bungie made another Halo 3 people still would've hated it because it was too similar.
