Remember, bungie doesn't own halo anymore. They would need 343's approval.
What i would want is castle base on europa with jun's (reach) grave. Would be nice to see him since we never learned how he died.

Jun didn't die.

They should have the halo reach statue along with the ODST grave from the trailer "We are ODST" ad and finally a quest in which you help Titan 117 who looks like some awesome character from the halo series hmmmmmmm who could that be?

I'm pretty sure he was inside a covenant capital ship standing next to a nuke when he activated it

Not true, games always have Halo Easter eggs, take Duke Nukem Forever for example.

This does not mean that they did not get Microsoft's permission, nor if the Halo reference was an exact replica of copywrited material.

If they can do it, ten Bungie sure as hell can

Edited by SDF River: 9/6/2013 1:12:44 PMAgree. Bungie and 343 are close, since 343 has several previous Bungie employees. I would honestly be surprised if there wasn't some reference to their previous work. Which brings me back to my original post:
Isn't Destiny, the game itself, one huge Halo reference? The weapons, Ghosts... Ect.
- Sit Down Fools

Seriously how did you get there I'm very curious.

Not sure I'm following you. What do you mean?

That Destiny is one big halo reference

It's an old post now. Most of what we're seeing is more Bungie methedology than references. Similar to how all UNSC vehicles were animal names and Covenant vehicles were named after spirits, we're seeing naming conventions for the enemies and Guardian vehicles. However, I still think the Ghost, your own AI companion, may be a calling to the Covenant vehicle. Also, Destiny will feel similar to Halo in some respects. An AR is still an AR. A Rocket Launcher is still a Rocket Launcher. It'll all feel familiar to Halo players, but eerily different. I'm excited for that.
