Except religion does a piss-poor job of answering "why?" Why did God create plants before he created the sun? Why did God create homosexuals if homosexuality is a sin? Why did God create cancer and AIDS?

Light was made on the first and the sun was made on the fourth. I guess the plants just survived off the initial light. Also I'm pretty sure Satan has a lot to do with sin and misery, since he started it all from the get go with the apple. And who bumped a year old thread?
