Good: When my old Halo skills kicked back into overdrive and I recked some players in the crucible. The gameplay felt smooth.
Edit: Get the cryptarch to rank 3. Got a package of rare loot from him that I couldn't use nor figure what to do with.
Bad: When me and my team died multiple times and had to restart in the strike. (Thank you checkpoints!). And same thing with the Iron Banner stuff. Was in a lobby where a guy on my team got the ship. Was so jealous.

I ended up getting the cryptarch to level 9. Each level gives a package that would normally give you glimmer, materials and sometimes a rare engram.

Wow, 9 is way more than what I had. I'm hoping that some of the non-armor loot has a good value in the game.

Lol. I spent a lot of glimmer on the Cryptarch. The material loot is going to be needed for the upgrades on rare and higher loot items.

I just gave him engrams that I picked up. I didn't think about buying them then again, aren't the dropped engrams better than the purchased engrams in some cases?

I see. Well now I know a lot of ways to increase rep to get some good loot from him.

I honestly hope you can't just receive Exotic weapons from him in the full game. That would be dumb. I think the only reason people were getting Exotics is because Bungie wanted to show them off.

Yeah. Probably the only way you would get exotics are from the vanguards, factions, and really rare mob drops. If a mob were to drop an exotic then it's probably really good. Same goes for exotics from raids and strikes.

[spoiler]He sort of looks like Hunter wearing all black, with a mask, that resembles a Jawa, with glowing yellow eyes.[/spoiler] I think his shop is that black market-looking area with all the Fallen and Cabal guns located under the Hangar.

Yes, I saw this in a Moreconsole video and really want to see what he has in stock. I still don't even know how I got a strange coin in the first place.

I know I got a couple of strange coins as a daily reward for completing a public event. I think I also got a couple from the legendary packages you receive for leveling up the Cryptarch.

Yeah I heard you get them from completing public events. I think I got one from the vanguards but I only got one.

Yeah. Most of the armor I've seen, though, doesn't really have that much variation from each other style wise.
