This is entirely untrue. I am a casual gamer and I have managed a level 30. Out of raid gear too none of that ib stuff. So dont tell me you cant when we know you can. You knew this was a social game when you bought it, which means 2 things, have friends or make friends. The second is harder but possible. their is an internet site called destinylfg.net you can find people their and if you wanna meet people in game play a few strikes and send a nessage to the good players you run across and say hey, I had fun playing with you, want to play another time maybe try out the raid?? I started out with no friends on destiny, I now have so many their is almost always someone on.

Your asking for a social game in which your not expected to ever be social. It does not take that long bs. Spend a week adding a lot of people from strikes and at the end of the week getting a raid group is easy. Besides with matchmaking youd NEVER finish the raid. Ive done it with rabdoms but only a couple times has that worked out at all. Everyone needs to cooperate, with matchmaking you have any idea how many ditches would happen? Hard mode raid is not possibly with 4 or even 5 casual players 6 casual players pre dedicated may have a chance. And by the time dlc gets here their will be new ways to hit 30. You request is like asking wow to do matchmaking for raids, its non sensible, it would frustrate casual players eveb further

I have friends in real life, they dont play games anymore I could do this, but trying to put together a raid team on the limited amount of time I would have, It would be much easier to have a matchmaking service.... I appreciate your view, but I think the game would have a more broad and long lasting appeal If i could just hook up with people in game...thats the whole point of my opinion

The groups you would get with matchmaking would not save you time. You could take 10 mins get a decent group beat the raid in an hr or you could use matchmaking for 5 mins and take 6 hrs to beat the raid.

I don't care if they add it or not, I would never use it for the raid or nightfall. Of the 40 or so friends online I only play the nightfall with about 7 of them.

With the site you know what your getting with matchmaking you could get a group of all 1st timers and never even get in the door.
