1) That's your opinion. I don't like MK, but they have a stable fan base.
2) the fighting game community is relatively small, like the horror game community. Only the biggest titles tend to make over a million sales. BlazBlue may sale 500,000 copies, but Arc Systems keeps making them. Because the games have a stable community.
