They would probably have to ban their whole dlc player base.
And they probably won't buy the next dlc if they are banned.

You are overstating the cheaters roles, my calculations bring me to around max 2% of the playerbase that will get banned. They could even restrict the banning to just 1000 randomly selected Players, they don`t even have to give a reason why they ban. This alone would be ensurance alone for all Players who want the rules enforced, that future Players will think again, whether they risk a ban.

Seems like bad business if you ask me, this game doesn't need more bad rep, it's already cool to hate this game. Developers banning people because of glitches in their content seems like really bad karma. I mean, this is why they didn't release hard at first right? So that the game breaking bugs wouldn't spoil the challenge of hard? Why then ban people for finding and using the bugs? Atheon got bumper walls, and it took almost two months for the Templar to get them, should have been banning people there right? Sorry, there should be no bans unless it's a modded console or gaining an unfair advantage over someone else, banning the people that play your game, when they aren't really going very far out of their way to do so, is really rather stupid.
