Your friend is a child and so are you. If he didn't want to cheese that's fine, but there's literally nothing to report. He a tattle tell running to teacher because someone in class called him a poppy head.
These people weren't cheating you or anyone else. They weren't using aim bots in PvP. They didn't hack to make themselves invulnerable. They were taking advantage of a glitch. Stop the presses!
If you don't wanna cheese, leave the group and find another one that wants to do it "the right way". And while you're at it, grow up.
Let Bungie worry about important things. Like fixing the glitch and punishing those actually cheating.

Edited by NewtypeShot: 12/25/2014 4:20:29 PMI agree and disagree with you at the same time. The problem with cheesing is that it gives some players (not necessarily all) the good weapons in the game and gets them to 32, then those same people go destroy anuses in the Crucible, causing all the crybabies to cry nerf and then when Bungie listens it ruins that gear for the rest of us. Because this is an MMO when you use exploits and cheeses it affects everyone, not just you. If people keep cheesing then this cycle will never stop.

Level means nothing in Crucible. Iron Banner yes, but not Crucible. And I've gotten weapons out of Engrams that were better for Crucible than Raid Weapons. Like a Shotgun with Final Round (last round does bonus damage) and kills would refund a round directly to the mag. Seriously a beastly shotgun that I'm reluctant to shard just because of those abilities.

There are even blue and green weapons that are monsters in pvp

Exactly. It's really embarrassing to be getting shredded by this one weapon that you don't recognize so you inspect the guy using it only to realize that that it's just a blue. A blue with a great ability, but still a blue.
