Fps Gameplay of destiny is better.
Story and interaction with npcs etc is better in mass effect.

For the style of game that mass effect is, I thought the mechanics in ME3 were fantastic. I spent a lot of time in the horde - mode multilayer and very much enjoyed it for the solid gameplay it offered.

Exactly, the fps play style is just more enjoyable to some people over third person. The fact that ME was third person was the main reason I could never fully enjoy it myself.
