Majority of people use AR in many other games.AR are versatile weapons. Automatic rapid fire of a machine gun and range/ accuracy of some single/ bolt rifles

So because they are a versatile real life weapon, and because COD balances their guns well, the fact that ARs were overpowered for crucible shouldn't matter, you probably want shotguns to have real range and accuracy too huh? That way everyone can shotgun eachother from 40 feet away

Hell no, shotguns are op as is do to the map design. Just saying that ARs are good versatile weapons in real life, justifying their popularity and capabilities.
