Halo had a better story than this. COD's stories are better than this. Battlefield, Gears of War. Name almost any FPS and their campaigns were immensely better stories than this.
I really don't understand the point of anyone saying the story sucks because it's an FPS.

Nowhere in my statement do I say that Destiny's crap story is excusable because it's an FPS. I'm just saying that each game focuses on different aspects and gameplay elements.
