America has treated me well and I would gladly give my life protecting it.
Seriously, what's with all the unpatriotic jerks on here? If you wouldn't die for your country, go somewhere else.
Edited by NeXuS: 1/16/2015 12:52:40 AMThere's a difference between protecting your country, your family, and your property, and fighting someone else's war. Defending against an invading threat or fighting a war where the threat for your home land to be invaded is very real, and imminent, is not the same as invading someone else.

There's nothing patriotic about the war in the middle east. It's not our business.

I don't want to have y life potentially ruined. The fact I the matter is, while at war, you lose your job and potentially your house. I wouldn't want to end up like a homeless veteran. Also I like the life I am living now. I would not want to cut connections with the people that I love just to join the military in a pointless war.
