Like I said "the military isn't for everybody"

How many units have you been in during your career? Do you know what getting "fenced in" means? Yes the military can be hard, but sometimes theres more to it than that. Ive known guys stationed in Benning 10+ years, non-negotiable. As in they tried to tranfer out. And couldnt. At that point, if you dont like your unit, the only options are to fail your piss test or bide your time and get your honorable. Hard lifestyles sometimes have nothing to do with it. And even if they do, theres a fine line between hard and stupid.

True I used to live in fort Benning

Quitting anything because it is hard, whither it is the military or college or weight loss or a marathon or anything that requires a lot of effort makes you a quitter. That is plain and simple. Would you drop out of college because you had to take a couple of hard classes? No. Would you quit working out and running because it made you tired and sore? No. Would you quit midway through a marathon because you were tired and out of breath? No. It's not about being dissatisfied by your situation and saying "screw it, I'm failing my piss test to get out of this hell hole". It's a state of mind where you say " things suck now, but they will get better. I will make them better." Those who give up when things get hard are quitters, those who stick with it make something of themeselves, whither it is in my case college or my friend case the Air Force and being stationed half way across the country in bum-blam!-, South Dakota.

Dude but that's how you feel, you don't know how people(soldiers) feel
-
Dude you're not a soldier if you quit boot camp. That's what this whole argument is about Jesus.
-
If you go through the things my brother, sister, mom, and dad went through then you would understand but you will never understand. I don't even understand so I shouldn't be talking.
-
Well I know I'm not a soldier but everybody else in my family is in the military so I kind of know what I am talking about. But I'm not in the military so what do I know?
-
Lol k. Nice chatting with you. Accept this loss and take a seat :)
-
I'm good I like standing ;)
-
So do ahead and spend 10 years stationed at one shitty unit. Then you can talk about quitters.

That is true but like I said "the military isn't for everybody".
