No. You are naive thinking otherwise. This is how the businessworld operates. ...and no it isn't a form of subscription. Because you are paying for CONTENT----content that cost Bungie to develop and market----not ACCESS. Subscriptions for on-line games is paying for access. Because games like WoW also charge you for CONTENT (expansions) ON TOP of what they charge each month for access.

  • In the end, you have to pay if you want access on both models. Subscribers don't pay for DLC last time I checked. It's all the same with a different approach.

  • The wisest move for any business is to put out a product that is of quality? And if their idea of quality doesn't meet the expectations of the consumer... what's the next move? Stick that middle finger up in the air and tell your customers maybe next time, lemmings! Lol. Kelly - we're all aware shareholders take priority in any company. But if you lose all your clientel, you're going to lose your profits. There IS such thing as balancing your profits and quality of your products. Don't go dollar general store on us please.
