I have a Plasma TV. Been playing on it for 2 years now, Playing Destiny on it since the day after release. Have over 10 days in. No problems. Sounds to me like you left your TV and Game on and went grocery shopping.

The problem is I ONLY played destiny for a while. So basically whenever my tv was on so was that lovely in your face yellow bar.

Ah, well that is strange then. I know there are a lot of warnings for the Plasma's about sustained imagery on the screen.
