No screen? You are losing some serious color depth on a painted wall. Unless of course you used a paint on screen. What is your gain? If you're getting at least a 1.0 then that is pretty good. I am getting 1.1 with my screen. I thought of just using a painted screen, but I hate painting.

Can't remember what the gain was but using regular paint with a "silver screen" tint. I am sure it could get better with a screen but a very good low cost alternative and very customizable for size.

Very true, plus don't have to worry about getting the screen perfectly level
