unless you bought a LCD/LED TV here in the last year or two then this would be true.

LCD/LED all look like you are watching a soap opera with any setting over 60 hz. 120hz and 240hz are horrible. LCD and LED cannot match the color quality or picture quality a plasma has. Only an OLED tv can do better on performance than a Plasma. Only reason why Plasmas are dying and LED/LCD are surviving is because of the insane profit margin they provide. Plasma TVs tech was still expensive to make leaving virtually no profit for a manufacturer.

maybe with an old first gen LCD/LED but the new ones i would stand behind vs a plasma

LOL. ok. Enjoy watching a movie that your LED/LCD makes the visuals look like a soap opera. You can try to argue with me all you want, but all 120hz and 240hz use interpolation to try to compensate for motion blur that the 60hz LCD/LED TV's have. I can explain interpolation to you if you need me too. LOL!

I had a plasma for 6 years and loved it. It died and i went to bestbuy to get another one. I got an LED one. When I got it home, I immediately noticed the difference. Brought it back to bestbuy the next day and spent $50 bucks more for the same size plasma and haven't looked back. As plasmas are being phased out, I'm sure my next big tv will have to be LCD or LED. :(
