This is the nature of a plasma TV. Use to sell TVs at Circuit City in college. I love them for their natural black levels, deep colors, and their ability to handle motion. Their only downside is increased chance of burn in. It can happen on LCDs as well. Newer Plasmas actually have a white wash option in the settings to get rid of it but your essentially burning a white screen into your TV to wash out the original burn in.
