Yes of course they do. But their huds aren't super bright and completely solid...

They still cause damage because the heated pixel burns into the glass and creates a ghost image. Only color that's not burning is black. White burns the hottest.

Exactly, but when its solid white vs faded white with the background showing through the solid white one will eventually burn in where as the transparent one blends in with the tv causing no noticeable ghost image. Aging all cells evenly is what keeps your plasma looking perfect. Solid white burns those cells much faster.
