Plasma tvs are way better you just fell for Sonys marketing campaign just like everyone else. Plasma still has the highest refresh rate and the truest blacks of any tv plus the tech has been out longer making it cheaper to manufacture therefore cheaper to purchase. And I know plasmas used to burn not anymore. They used to preform poorly in high altitude again used to and they used to have shorter life spans which the current gap in life span is almost non existent. The only downside plasma still can't get over is glare from light sources well worth the one con for all the pros
