Correction: Playing any video game on a cheap tv can ruin your tv.
Other things that can ruin your cheap tv:
Watching sports. (the score in the corner can burn in.)
Watching network tv. They like to put their logo in the corner.
Moral of the story. Your tv is the problem, not Destiny. Maybe use this as an excuse to get a decent tv. I suggest doing a little research this time.

My tv is top rated.....the year it came out it was acclaimed as one of the best you could get....sooo...yeah.

Edit: I see you did, I will get back to you. Edit 2: I see good reviews for the tv, but I also see a lot of people having burn problems for it. I am sorry for your luck. I am kind of surprised that a tv that is only 3 years old has this problem. This isn't a Destiny problem. Its a Panasonic problem. Have you posted on their forums?
