True film is shot at 24fps which gives it that "film look". The reason I said LCD/LED makes a film look like it was shot on video is because it negates that film look and it literally does cause it to look like it was shot on video. I don't know much about televisions or video, but being a graduate of film school and preferring the look of genuine 35mm film to digital video, I will take a plasma over an LCD/LED any day.
