Same thing happened to me. I noticed it two weeks ago and stopped pal uign the game. Here's the thing I don't get, never had any stubborn image retention from any game, static TV image. And I play other shooters, halo, titanfall. Even Diablo 3. But this one game caused my barely one year old VT60 to have the HUD burn in. I had the contrast on 80, after using a calibration disc I brought it down to 50. I've been running the screen wipe and disney WOW pixel flipper for an hour at a time. At first it cleared up a good amount but last Sat. It hit the wall. Can't say I'm making much progress. I notice it on off white backgrounds most. Like hockey ice. It's a shame because it was my favorite game. But I can't do anymore damage to my dream TV. The lack of talk or update from Bungie regarding a patch for this issue is truly amazing. I can't believe that it could be a hard thing to complete.

  • Im sorry to hear that. But yeah I can't play the game either. I've been running screen wipes, crazy trippy edm videos for all the swirling bright colors, even occasional static....not much help. I've been doing this for 5 or so hours the past few days. And not much noticeable difference yet. I can't view any relatively bright colorful content without seeing it and it really upsets me. Never has a game given me this problem. Guess my love for the game since launch endes up costing me more than a expansion pass fee.....I hope we and everyone else who suffered destiny burn in eventually see it fade away. Good luck friend!
