I have the same TV, and I adjust the screen bounds once or twice per session. This moves the static HUD elements. And I run the TV's wipe function overnight once in a while. These simple steps avoid the burn-in problem. And over time it may perhaps improve your TV as well.
EDIT: And I enabled the pixel orbiter burn-in protection, but I think it defaults to ON. I had it OFF since it makes the text somewhat fuzzy when I use the TV for my HTPC with Windows 7. When used as a computer display, I have to take another series of steps to avoid burn-in: Change the desktop background frequently (automatic Win7 function). Don't leave icons on desktop, and hide the taskbar automatically.
