Bumped. Although at this point I don't agree with even 20/25$. To me its not about the money anymore it's about the clear disrespect to its players. Customization options are not an incentive. I know I'm not buying TTK regardless of anything. If it's free I might buy the dlc/game whichever it goes to next. The problem is that if not for the Year One players this game would never of gotten to TTK, so why cater to new players and slap the players who got it this far? Fu** that, I'll just wait for 10 years when the story is completely done and pay 80-120$ for 10 years of content as a "new player" and miss out on the customization options which I card literally less than 0% about.
Sorry rant.
Tbh, after all the stuff that's happened I would prefer the TTK to be free for existing content owners of all content thus far and then have their 2 regular paid DLC's. I honestly thought that Destiny would be just like a much better Defiance (before it went f2p) with both paid and free content, prowling wolves isn't free content, it's oh look you got a Treasure Key..if only you had the new DLC ;)
Yeah they aren't going to get the same amount of new players coming to join Destiny as upon launch so why they would cater effectively to them and ineffectively to us is a mystery, or is it..*looks at who the publiser is* ohhhhhh
Answer may end up being just to buy destiny as a special edition once a year or 3 years if you can wait that long, if people are going to play it they can wait a year but not 10 :P
