Thank you to the teams and people working at Bungie
After hearing about the absolute nightmare that was working over at Bungie, I just wanted to make this small post to express my gratitude to the workers and designers who pour their heart and soul into this game.
I’ve been one to complain about Destiny (pretty sure literally everyone in this community complains about destiny), but I wanted to say that these complaints are by no means directed to the workers and teams responsible for creating this game we love (, and love to hate on). All of my frustrations and complaints are directed towards the terrible management and laughable leadership at Bungie.
Regardless thank you, all of you, for everything you do.

They literally hired minority employees with no experience just to say they are “inclusive.” Pretty sure this was mentioned in the IGN article. If they actually cared about minority representation, they would hire said people who actually are fit for the job. The Bungie Ninjas are probably going to ban me for speaking the truth since they are in Bungie’s pocket and we all know you can’t critique “wokeness” when it comes to Bungie. EDIT: I’m actually scared they will ban me from D2 now. Bungie has been known to ban without reason with some ppl. :(

I agree, all those artists, devs and other workers do as they are told by their chain of command, if chain of command is crap then the crap is what we get. The upper management seems to be entitled, someone show them r/antiwork and what can happen if they keep doing it.

5 RepliesI feel like that last truly great time in the game was Taken King, and to a lesser extent, Forsaken. Luke Smith did a great thing with Taken King, and the rest after that wasn’t very great. I feel like under the new direction of Joe Blackburn, things are finally turning around. I mean, we actually have story and lore of the universe in the game! I feel like that’s lame to say that considering it should be expected, but it seems like things are changing for the better. I hope I’m right in thinking that. So as a total lore nerd who LOVES that part of the writing, thanks Bungo. I’m hoping that my Voidwalker will be able to fully embody an eldritch master of explosions and black holes with void 3.0 lol. Thanks again! :)

2 RepliesThere are some seriously talented artists and developers at Bungie that are unfortunately stifled by the iffy game engine and management. Whoever designed the Steeplechase Warlock set for example, or the sound designers of Winters Wrath. Real works of art.

I can honestly say all my complaints are a management issue. The actual developers don’t do the budget and don’t make the decisions. They just work their asses off to put the product out with what they have. Thanks to them. Management sucks though😂

Some time ago I met a person who worked for Bungie, was a man just say that, the truth told me about all the toxic environment that lived and still lives in those offices, gave me details that sincerely seemed more that a recruitment of rookie infantry than a video game company, I will not point to anyone, but I add to that thanks to the team that IS MAKING THE GAME FORWARD, grateful that these people who make their passion their profession, give us the best they can give us, guys heartfelt thanks for these 7 wonderful years that you have given us and hoping heartily continue to see us in orbit, see you in the guardian stars.

1 ReplyI would like to thank Bungie for never testing anything and releasing broken patches. Like right now, grabbed the New Light quest on my titan just for the hell of it. Got to Cold Boot, can't complete it. Says get to the Array but once you reach Lunar complex the waypoint marker bugs out and leads you in a circle in 1 room to point at a chair then to an open door then the chair, ect. If you go to the array anyways and scan it, it does not progress. Cheers Bungie for breaking the New Light quest and making New Lights quit before they can even really start!

The more they cry out with virtue signaling the more they have to hide. DMG is a perfect example of that. Along with the one employee that compared T-Bagging in Video Games to actual Se[i]xu[/i]al Assault. This is why i don't fund this company anymore. They quite literally don't deserve it.

You should read more about what happened rather then listening to what Bungie tells you cause obviously they will have a different more pure story
