Bungie, don’t act like you don’t see all of these AE rants on YouTube by big names Aztecross, Mstashed, etc.
PvP is a bigger part of your game than you pretend it is, but it feels like it’s punishing just for playing it. You can’t move in a movement game? There’s no flawless protection for players of lesser skill, they just get the short end of the stick. These crucible changes coming next season could be way more exciting if the gameplay was in a better place and it’s the worst I’ve ever experienced it. Coming from a D1 beta vet. SBMM is hated across the board too. Plus where are the maps at?? I remember the days we’d get maps for every minor expansion such as Crota’s end or house of wolves.
PvP players, I know this isn’t our game and we don’t make the calls which can be frustrating at times which is why it’s important to remain patient like we have been. We’ve been patient long enough. We may not make the calls but we are the reasons bungie gets paid, this community is ours and with even our loudest voices on YouTube having our backs it still isn’t enough. We oughta come together and start canceling our lightfall pre orders to send a message that we care about this community. That we want it to blossom and thrive, to hell with better rewards because we could use that too we just want something that’s worth playing. This game felt so good 2 years ago even when stasis was ruining crucible. Now it feels slow like halo 3. What was the point of the go fast update if this was our inevitable destination.
Bungie things have to change before you lose more fans than you already have. I’ve seen the numbers and it scares me as a fan. I already see my time coming too if things don’t change

I’m not coming back until they revert AE.
-
I pleaded before and after this happened on here, Twitter, YT, and Reddit that the community needs to come together and pushback on this. I wished for all the main Content Creators to unite as one voice and tell their audience to do the same. A change.org post with all this communities signing it might have done something. It should have hit on AE, Slide Nerfs, a true Ranked Playlist that matches based on Rank (RBMM) and not what they’re giving us which is their hidden SBMM and many more issues. But I was downvoted into oblivion

Edited by Kenny: 11/29/2022 10:43:03 AM
Bungie, don’t act like you don’t see all of these AE rants on YouTube by big names Aztecross,
LOL I stopped reading right here. Last time I checked azteclown was whining that in order to "relax and enjoy Destiny's pvp" , he needs to play - literally - against people who are way worse than him.

Edited by StagiestSun3240: 11/30/2022 2:59:47 PMI got one word for you: Stompees

For hunters be able to use stompees again? No. AE is fine.
-
-
If the hunters would quit bunny hopping so much we wouldn't need AE but all the hunters crutch on that -blam!- so it's necessary
-
SBMM is needed in every pvp playlist. Right now we have the "who is online" matchmaking.
-
AE was a nerf to all weapon play

Edited by NotCreative123: 11/29/2022 2:49:45 PMSpecials shouldn't be used in the air. This was a good change. We should be able to give up something to spec into increased AE with Primary weapons. We need armor mods or AE Fragments or maybe tie AE into Mobility. I also think handcannons should have a slightly higher base AE than they currently have (but maybe the usage rates don't support that point of view). Right now, only a few Class-specific Exotics provide the AE bonus necessary to make Primaries consistent in the air. What if I want to jump-shot with an SMG on my Hunter (no Peacekeepers)? Or with a Handcannon on my Titan (no Lucky Pants)? Warlocks have "Heat Rises", but a high AE stat shouldn't be locked behind a single subclass. My only concern with improving AE is that a high AE stat benefits Hunters more than the other classes due to their unique jump. Hunters are already overused, and I don't want to exacerbate the issue
-
Bungie just let them jump and slide
-
I love how Bungie tries to make this game require some sort of skill and it's met with I don't want to get Good Bungie. Get good and land your shots.

Fking preach man, they literally destroyed one of the core aspects of the game with a "feature" NO ONE wanted.
-
Lmao, airborne effectiveness is still in the game???
-
I think cruicible is fine the way it is tho

I've barely noticed the AE change tbh. I think probably the only players that are really noticing it were probably using it as a crutch/Hunter mains. Then again I've practically been mainlining blink off and on since D1 so I'm probably not qualified to speak on it.
-
I'm OK with AE. Part of the nerf buff cycle. Do you really want to play the same way year after year? Spec into it.
-
Just adapt.
-
I disagree. To hell with the flying apes.
-
1. Right off the bat you failed cause you referenced out side points made by some elitist players like those two. 2. Please stop the melodrama sbmm is not hated across the board it's hated by some. Sorry but no does pvp need to change yea but ae is fine as is, if I can't jump out a plane in real life and head shot you then you sure as hell shouldn't do it in a game. It may be a space magicy game but some realism needs to exist. It's a pve game by the way anyway man it always has been pvp was just added in to fill a hole.
-
Only people who want ae is the people who want to jump about with 140hc and the occasional sniper. Bunny hopping hunters just needlessly aiming in your general direction getting aim assisted crits.. Or jumping with a shotgun blowing peoples heads off at range. The most used meta seems to bring the loudest crying from people. That’s my take anyway
-
I agree, EA games do suck.
-
Everyone always forgets Bungie has been playing in our future sandboxes for awhile now. I always remember it being said long ago in the past... By Bungie, that the pvp game could always be boiled in internal servers... to whomever could get up above most quickly won... The, "I've got the high ground Anakin" problem. Perhaps AE is an attempt to make that advantage less glaring... Idk, just wondering aloud.
-
Ehh it's nice not having people jumping all over the place. I remember the days of Halo 3 with the bumper jumpers and its still popular in halo infinite.
