I'm not a high level PvP player, but I enjoy playing PvP casually, but the connections in this game are making it completely unenjoyable.
I'd rather be paired against someone that is a Lighthouse player every Trials there is to against someone that I just can't hit because is lagging awfully, and that happens a lot.

How about platform too? I’m tired of having full lobby of Xbox players with the terrible cross platform connection.
-
Almost like everyone said sbmm would cause connection issues lol
-
CBMM FTW!
-
It's not sbmm that's the problem it's the lack of players and the only people still playing pvp or either sweats, loyal players to a dieing game or pvp cheats in mass either aimbotting or network manipulation . when sbmm was first implemented it was fine soon as bungie caved in to sweats and loosened mm in favor of cbmm then the cracks started to show again
-
Does it matter? One persons fun is another persons suffering. Its pvp there will always be problems. It’s never going to be perfect.
-
Never mind connnectionbased matchmaking. Just tell all the players with bad connections they can’t play. Period. No exceptions. Must meet minimum requirements. Then do skill based mm if required.
-
Willing to bet the same kids who barely played crucible before sbmm and begged for it, still barely play with sbmm
-
CBMM needs to come back for sure. SBMM has been removed in thd past, so I have reason to believe it might be removed again. When the honeymoon period wears off with the raid and the player population drops, they may be forced to due to bad match quality.

You don't like being matched with Japanese, Brazilian, Australian and German players at the same time? Who would have thought.. SBMM is the most useless system ever created in such casual games like Destiny. If someone wants to "farm" lower brackets, they just have to make a new account their "system" does not detect you if you have blue weapons and blue gear, lots of people have been smurfing since SBMM came in soon after TTK release in Destiny 1, there are also other ways like having a 6 man stack run through 6v6, the chances you match another big team are very low and most of the time they leave when they match each other. Some players may be casual, and be naturally good at FPS due to decades of playing them, these same players are punished and thrown into lobbies against Dylan07Xxx with 220K kills and 4k hours in the Crucible, that's not fair, but I doubt the implementation of SBMM was to make things fair, I believe it was more of an excuse to hide their poor server performance.

Stop with the lies as there definitely was lag in all the matchmaking . Funny how magically forget and think it’s only in one . It’s also fireteam matchmaking not just skill .. yes there were also cheaters in all of matchmaking so don’t try that next
-
How about NO
-
Bungie have been full circles changing from Cbmm to skill based -fireteam based, they keep testing the waters trying to get it to work but it should be obvious by now, get it right and stop fkn with it.

I guess the community just have to realize that MAYBE the part of community that plays one certain mode the most has more knowledge about whats good and whats not.

That would be cbmm.
